A trusted resource.

Nothing you can do for your child will mean more to her in the long run than being her trusted resource.  Having a secure, safe person to ask questions is invaluable.  She needs to be able to ask the embarrassing stuff, the silly stuff, the serious stuff, and the boring stuff.  Establishing yourself as a reliable, honest, and thorough resource is critical. You have most likely laid the groundwork for this since she was born.  

As she blooms from a tiny seed, to a sprout, to a bud, she needs your guidance and wisdom every step of the way.  Just as she is starting to bloom, the questions get tougher and the trust needs to run deeper.  You need the answers to the questions, and you need the answers to be accurate and easy-to-understand.  Dr. Quin and I understand this as physicians and as mothers.  We have the answers ready for you when the time comes.  We want to be your trusted resource so that you can be hers.
