Very few people drink enough water.  In my clinic, this presents in many different ways, but most commonly it is constipation, headaches, and lightheadedness.   The recent popularity of water bottles and cups has helped a little with this almost universal problem.  

Discuss hydration with your daughter.  In the heat of the summer, it is critical to increase water intake.  It can be helpful to keep a record of how much water you are drinking. Aim for 8-10 glasses a day.  She will thank you later!
