No Big Deal

It seems like everything these days has become a BIG DEAL.  Over-the-top birthday parties, first days of school, last days of school, and vacations feel like they are the norm.  While most children seem to appreciate the moments that their parents carefully craft for them (though, perhaps, the level of appreciation does not match the level of effort), wouldn’t it be nice if a major event in life was NO BIG DEAL for the parents- especially the mom?!
