Origin Story

Dr. Nancy and I met in a tiny exam room in June 2015. My husband and I had just moved to our new city after I graduated OBGYN residency. Our daughter needed her 4 month check-up and I asked him for pediatrician recommendations. He said that a girl he graduated from high school with was nice and a pediatrician now. Well, that was an understatement, of course. Men! *eye-roll*

Dr. Nancy is the most beautiful, poised, friendly doctor one will ever meet. She’s a rock solid diagnostician, and we’ve trusted her to care for our three children for over a decade. 

Back to the exam room…she exclaimed “Are you Harrison’s wife?! And this is Harrison’s child?!” And I said “Yes! And now WE are friends!” A fast friendship was born, but little did we know how deep it would run. We are doctors in the community, are in the same book club and Mardi Gras krewe, and even take family vacations together. 

Most importantly, we’ve started something truly special: a pediatrician-approved, OBGYN-endorsed, one-stop landing place for puberty education. It’s the first of it’s kind! Uniting the parent and daughter experience in one online platform. In Full Bloom, MD is the culmination of her pediatric expertise and my deep understanding of the female reproductive tract. We want to guide you through the aches and pains of her puberty just as we have helped thousands of parents before.
