Practice

Jun 22, 2026

Hi, I'm Dr. Quin, a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has a passion for Puberty. As an OBGYN in private practice, the majority of my day is spent in clinic: seeing patients for a variety of reasons. Some annual visits, some OB routine visits to check on mom and baby. But my favorite are the adolescent visits.

ACOG, the American College of OBGYNs, recommends the first OBGYN visit be between 13-15 years old to establish care. There’s no pelvic exam at that visit, just talking. Talking about anatomy, reviewing the menstrual cycle, and answering questions are some of the tasks we accomplish. But, I’ll be honest cramming it all into a 15 minute visit is tough.

That’s why my partner and colleague, Dr. Nancy, a pediatrician, started In Full Bloom, MD. Whether you need an in-person presentation or an online video quickly, we fill the need of comprehensive puberty care. We practice in a state that doesn’t prioritize this vital knowledge inside the classroom. We all live in a world where online influencers and AI are vying for a girl’s attention and don’t know or care what her needs are. We do; we see it everyday in practice.
