Aug 03, 2026Mean Girls. Ugh. Every girl has to deal with one at some point in her life. It is hard for the girl going through it. It is typically even harder for the mom of the girl going through it. A mean girl is a bully of the worst kind. She might ignore you, she might put you down, and she might even try to rope others into being mean to you. Guess what? All of those actions are a reflection on her. Not on you.
Your response to the mean girl is a reflection on you. You can choose to be mean back. You can ignore her. You can respond to her meanness with kindness. It is really difficult to do in the moment. However, if you can find it in yourself to be kind when someone else is being mean, you will not regret it.
