Traditions

Happy Independence Day!  Don’t you love the Fourth of July traditions?!  I sure do!  Fireworks, good food, and plenty of time in the sunshine are all so much fun!  

Traditions help strengthen bonds even if the tradition itself is small, silly, or seemingly unimportant.  Think about the traditions that you have in your family.  Ask your daughter which ones are especially important to her.  Ask her if there is a tradition she would like to start.  It is nice to have a yearly constant in the midst of all of the change that life brings.  It is also great fun to see how the tradition evolves or stays the same as you and your daughter grow closer. 

We are all so blessed to live in the Land of the Free where we can start a tradition or carry on old traditions as we please!
